The social enterpreneurship response paradigm to peace building is an innovation that is of best significant value in resolving conflicts ridden regions of the world. It would be what while if the paradigm is replicated in the Middle East and African.

The enlightening comment in this article is the power of young entrepreneurs who were enabled to get going and making the difference.

The involvement and engagement of this very group of people and directing the energy in a positive direction.

For sure, once there is peace it is possible to have economic progress which makes for a better place.

The article is actually an eye opener especially to Governments(Policy Makers) all over the world. Most conflicts in many parts of the world are usually prevalent in remote areas. Little infrastructural developments, low levels of literacy, low government presence e.t.c. are normally the norm in these areas. we must all realise that if we want to eradicate conflicts we must open these areas by putting proper development structures in place and also ensuring that the people are fully involved in policy making decisions.

That's what our work in Eastern Europe focussed on beginning by applying for profit social enterprise to source a development initiative in Russia. It was replicated by USAID in several cities.

It went on to Ukraine, in a project to introduce social enterprise in the Crimean Tatar community leading to a national scale 'Marshall Plan' which called on support from the US at a cost equivalent to a wee in Iraq.
